S.P.O.T. (Stop Pet Overpopulation Today) is a local, 501 (c) (3)
all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating the overpopulation of pet dogs in our community. We raise funds to provide financial assistance to Lane County residents
who are unable to afford the cost of spaying or neutering their dogs.

With over 40,000 un-spayed/un-neutered dogs in Lane County, shelters and rescue groups are overwhelmed with excess animals.

There are not enough homes to go around, even if every family in Lane County adopted multiple pets!

Sadly, thousands end up euthanized each year because there is simply no more room to "warehouse" them. Thousands more are hit by cars, or die from starvation, disease, or
infection on the streets and roads where they are abandoned every day.

You can be a part of the solution.
PLEASE have all your pets spayed or neutered.
