Apply for Financial Help with Spay/Neuter

Please note: If you have received a SPOT voucher before Oct 20, 2023 you must secure an appointment with WAG by December 1, 2023. Otherwise, you will have to apply for an appointment with WAG after January 1, 2024. However, you may be eligible for another low-cost program with WAG during this implementation pause on their website.

Eligibility: To qualify, dogs must be individually owned pets. SPOT is unable to provide our limited funds for financial assistance to rescue organizations, breeders, or anyone selling dogs. WAG will require written proof of low-income eligibility prior to appointment or at the time of appointment if you do not have internet access to send it over.

Apply Online with WAG

The quickest and most efficient way to apply for a subsidy is to fill out WAG’s online application form at wagwag.org. A separate request must be filled out for each pet. Please be patient and submit each voucher request just once. Multiple requests create confusion and slow down a response.

Apply By Phone

If and only if you do not have internet access, you may leave a message for WAG at 541-345-3556 to apply by phone. Be sure to leave all detailed information requested on the phone message to make your process faster. Be sure your phone message service is not full or they will not be able to reach you.
